While reading "Shakespeares world" i came across many factors such as sad, digusting , funny wierd ect. that may have had an impact of shakespeare and his writing. It was shocking to see how shakespeare took some of his real life experience and applied it to most of his writing. During this period of time there were a lot of death and diseases going on, which explains why most of shakespeares plays and writing dealt with tragedy. A fact that stood out was to see how severe the social effects of the plague were. It was sad to see how the infected and their household were ordered to be locked in their homes for a month. This was to help keep the streets clean. Another fact that stood out was to see how high mortality rate was. This was due to lack of hygiene. which can be considered to be disgusting. However, i found it funny to see how theaters were closed not only to stopped spread of plague but to not anger god. These three facts helped shape the theme of shakespeares writing and they also apply to most of his stories. A writing that potray Shakespeares belief is "The Seven Tragedies Embodying the Seven Deadly Sins. From this writing you can conclude that the facts stated in "Shakespeares World" influenced his style of writing. This was a writing that dealt with most of his theories and tragedies that occurred in his life.
